being the ONLY graphic designer in this corporate company, i’ve been swamped with tons of design work everyday. and sometimes, on a busy day, i work 13-15 hours.
but. despite all this. i do love my job. and, i get paid doing what i love. and what’s more, i get to travel a lot too.
will be back home soon guys! i miss home u_u

apparently, I’ve gotten an amazing job opportunity. and this job (although crazy hectic) requires me to travel… a lot. at least once a month, for about 2 weeks each trip. which is both good and bad. good because. hi. travel and work. bad because. you know. i miss people back home. too much. i get homesick easily because i’m such a pussy
i’ll be in Calgary in September, for 2-3 weeks. but till then. i’ll be flying between singapore, manila, maybe australia and the US. which is kinda crazy wicked awesome.
anyway, past few days here have been crazy busy. i havent been able to talk to my folks at all. and i haven’t been able to talk to this special someone properly too. i’m always too tired once i reach my hotel.
but i love my new job. here’s something i did at the office because i can.

the past few days have been crazy tiring. i’ve been tryna earn some money. so i’ve been doing some freelance stuff. and whatever job i can get.
so anyway, i got this new 3-4 day job. as a packer/mover in a law firm. so like. i gotta pack shit. and move heck loads of heavy boxes. sucha rugged and tiring job. and the pay’s pretty shitty. but it’s still something.
the funny thing was that. when i was there today, pushing trolleys and packing stuff. i got a lot of stares. i guess because they didnt expect a girl to be doing such a physical job. and also because i was in such bright colours as compared to their office wear.
most of the lawyers there were crazy amazed when i told them that i was an artist, majoring in animation, and later, going to pursue a masters in illustration. i guess they never thought such people existed.
i just hope i don’t give em the impression of the ‘typical struggling artist’.
